Empower Girls Plus is a national youth-led association whose mission is to promote sustainable youth development through various key intervention areas in youth entrepreneurship, gender mainstreaming, life skills training, promoting LGBTI rights, youth reproductive health rights (including drug abuse prevention) and youth international volunteerism. The organization promotes development agenda that seeks to bear out the empowerment of other young people by addressing some of the challenges they experience in their quest for quality and affordable livelihoods.

It is registered as a National society with the Registrar of Societies (No 45327) and is a bold response to the need to change the paradigm in the mobilization of local resources to facilitate the empowerment of young people who are at the very bottom of the survival pyramid. The organization' s key implementation philosophy is hinged on the social enterprise model which emphases sustainable utilization of resources and gender equity in the pursuit for poverty alleviation.
